About Us - Crosby Volunteer Fire Department

The Crosby Volunteer Fire Department is an all-volunteer organization comprised of over 50 members who protect an area that spans 110 square miles, encompassing over 30,000 citizens living in the unincorporated areas of Crosby and Barrett Station. The Crosby Volunteer Fire Department has 5 fire stations throughout the community with over 27 pieces of various apparatus to provide coverage to our response area. Added to this the Crosby Volunteer Fire Department has Mutual Aid Agreements with neighboring fire departments which further strengthens the emergency services available to our community and East Harris County.

The Crosby Volunteer Fire Department is funded by Harris County Emergency Services District #80, various grants, and donations.
